Replacing Blog Archive with a Drop Down Menu

Would you like to change your blog archive

From this :                                                                To this?

It sure save a lot of prime real estate location on your sidebar, if your archive is a drop
down menu. You could use all those free space for advertisement instead,
and make money online! Yay!

1. Log in to your blogger account

2. Go to Layout

3. Select add a Gadget

4. Select HTML/JavaScript

5. Copy & Paste this code into the Content :

<option />Search Past Post

<option value="THE URL OF YOUR POST" />YOUR POST TITLE

The only issue that I have with this menu is that you have to manually key in your blog title

every time you have a new post. I have not yet found an auto-magical version of this

drop down menu. 

6. Click on Save and arrange your Blog Archive where you want it
